The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8S-U6809-E1KX or CS8SU6809E1KX, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO designed to fit most popular automatic and manual transmissions, including Allison 1000/2000 series. It offers three remote mount output shaft configurations in keyed and flange types for remote pump drive versatility. Direct mount pump flanges are rotatable for maximum clearance, and the unit accepts SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 pump mountings. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the PTO is disengaged. An optional pulse generator is available to allow a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
