The Muncie CS8S-U6809-E1EX or CS8SU6809E1EX is a CS8 Series 8-bolt clutch shift power take-off engineered to cover a wide range of truck applications. It accommodates 19 transmission input gear configurations, making it compatible with most popular automatic and manual transmissions. Three remote mount output shaft options in keyed and flange types give flexibility for remote pump drives. Direct mount pump flanges meet SAE "A", "B", and "BB" standards as well as DIN 5462, and the rotatable flanges let you position the pump for maximum clearance in tight installations. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents shaft rotation when the PTO is disengaged. An optional pulse generator supports System Protection Device monitoring of PTO shaft speed.
