The Muncie CS8S-U6809-A1EX or CS8SU6809A1EX is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO from the CS8 Series, designed to fit most popular automatic and manual transmissions, including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump flanges are rotatable to allow maximum clearance during installation, and the unit accepts SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 pump configurations. Three remote mount output shaft options cover both keyed and flange types for versatile pump drive setups. The patented Muncie drag brake holds the shaft stationary when the PTO is in the OFF position. An optional pulse generator connects to a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
