The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8S-M6509-E1KX or CS8SM6509E1KX, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO designed for direct and remote pump drive applications. It fits Allison 1000/2000 series transmissions and a broad range of manual transmissions via multiple transmission input gear options. Direct mount pump flanges are SAE "A", "B", and "BB" and DIN 5462 compatible, and each flange is rotatable to position the pump for maximum clearance. Three remote mount output shaft options cover keyed and flange types. The patented Muncie drag brake prevents shaft rotation when the PTO is disengaged, and an optional pulse generator supports System Protection Device shaft speed monitoring.
