The Muncie CS8S-U6809-E3BX (also referenced as CS8SU6809E3BX) is a CS8 Series 8-bolt clutch-shift power take-off designed for a broad range of automatic and manual transmissions, including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Rotatable SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 direct-mount flange options accommodate most popular hydraulic pumps, and three remote-mount output shafts in keyed and flange types add versatility for remote pump drives. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the PTO is in the OFF position. An optional pulse generator connects to a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
