The Muncie CS8S-U6809-E3SX or CS8SU6809E3SX is an 8-bolt clutch-shift power take-off from Muncie's CS8 Series. It fits a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions, including popular Allison 1000/2000 series applications, with 19 transmission input gear options. Direct mount pump flanges conform to SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 standards, and those flanges rotate to give maximum pump clearance in tight installations. Three remote mount output shaft configurations are available in keyed and flange types for flexible pump drive setups. Muncie's patented drag brake holds the output shaft stationary when the PTO is disengaged, and an optional pulse generator integrates with a System Protection Device to monitor shaft speed.
