The Muncie CS8S-U6809-H1SX or CS8SU6809H1SX is a CS8 Series power take-off built around an 8-bolt clutch shift configuration. It covers 19 transmission input gear options, making it compatible with a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Three remote mount output shaft styles are available in keyed and flange types for flexible pump drive setups. Direct mount pump options include SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 patterns, with rotatable flanges to clear tight installation envelopes. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the PTO is disengaged. An optional pulse generator supports PTO shaft speed monitoring through a System Protection Device.
