The Muncie CS8S-U6809-P1CX or CS8SU6809P1CX is a CS8 Series power take-off built around an 8-bolt clutch shift design. It covers a wide spread of transmission applications, fitting most popular automatic and manual transmissions including Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump flanges are rotatable for maximum clearance and accept SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 pumps. Three remote mount output shaft options in keyed and flange types give flexibility for various pump drive configurations. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents unwanted shaft rotation when the PTO is in the off position. An optional pulse generator is available to let a System Protection Device monitor PTO shaft speed.
