The Muncie CS8 Series power take-off, part number CS8S-U6809-P3IX or CS8SU6809P3IX, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO covering a wide range of automatic and manual transmission applications, including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump flanges are SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 compatible, and the flanges rotate to allow maximum clearance during installation. Three remote mount output shaft options come in keyed and flange types for flexible pump drive configurations. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents shaft rotation when the PTO is in the off position. An optional pulse generator supports System Protection Device monitoring of PTO shaft speed.
