The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8S-U6809-A1PX or CS8SU6809A1PX, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO designed to fit a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions, including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump options include SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 flanges, with rotatable mounts that let you position the pump for maximum clearance. Three remote mount output shaft configurations are available in keyed and flange types for remote pump drive flexibility. The patented Muncie drag brake prevents shaft rotation when the unit is in the OFF position. An optional pulse generator enables a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
