The Muncie CS8S-U6812-P3CX or CS8SU6812P3CX is a CS8 Series 8-bolt clutch shift power take-off designed to fit a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions, including Allison 1000 and 2000 series. It offers three remote mount output shaft options in keyed and flange types for versatile pump drive configurations. Direct mount pump flanges are rotatable to allow maximum clearance in tight installations, and the unit accommodates SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 pump mountings. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the PTO is disengaged. An optional pulse generator is available to let a System Protection Device monitor PTO shaft speed.
