The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8S-U6814-E1BX or CS8SU6814E1BX, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO designed to fit most popular automatic and manual transmissions, including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump flanges conform to SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 standards, and the rotatable flange design lets you position the pump for maximum clearance in tight engine compartments. Three remote mount output shaft options - available in keyed and flange types - give flexibility for remote pump drive configurations. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the PTO is disengaged. An optional pulse generator is available for integration with a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
