The Muncie SH6S-U6005-A12X or SH6SU6005A12X is an air-shift power take-off from Muncie Power's SH Series, designed to fill the performance gap between lighter and heavier PTO families in high-torque applications. The integral air shift design keeps the air cylinder fully enclosed inside the housing, eliminating exposed external components. The 6-bolt cast iron housing mounts cleanly to the transmission, and the unit is compatible with 17 input gear sets covering most popular transmission configurations. Five available speed ratios and 12 output shaft options give this series broad pump compatibility. At the 05 and 07 speed ratios, intermittent torque capacity reaches 400 ft-lb (542 Nm) at 1,000 RPM.
