The Muncie SH8B-U6809-A3BX or SH8BU6809A3BX is an SH Series air-shift-only power take-off built for high-torque truck applications. The SH Series fills the performance gap between the TG and 82 Series, and this unit uses an integral air shift design with no exposed air cylinder, mounted in an 8-bolt cast iron housing. Five speed ratios are available across the series, with intermittent torque ratings ranging from 325 to 400 ft-lb (441-542 Nm) depending on the ratio selected.
