The Muncie SH8B-U6809-E1PX or SH8BU6809E1PX is an SH8 Series air shift power take-off built for high-torque truck applications. The integral air shift design keeps the air cylinder fully enclosed within the housing, eliminating the exposed cylinder hardware common on older designs. An 8-bolt cast iron housing simplifies mounting and adds structural strength. Five speed ratios and 17 input gear set options cover most popular transmission configurations, while 12 output shaft options accommodate the most common pump types. Speed ratio 05 and 07 configurations carry intermittent torque ratings up to 400 lb.ft. (542 Nm) and intermittent output of 76 HP at 1,000 RPM. Sold by Pro Gear and Transmission.
