The Muncie SH8B-U6812-A3PX (also referenced as SH8BU6812A3PX) is an SH8 Series power take-off built for high-torque, air-shift-only applications. The integral air shift design keeps the air cylinder fully enclosed inside the housing, eliminating exposure to road debris and damage. The 8-bolt cast iron housing mounts securely and handles the structural loads common in demanding vocational work. Depending on the speed ratio selected, intermittent torque ratings reach 400 ft-lb (542 Nm) at the 05 and 07 ratios, stepping down to 375 ft-lb (508 Nm) at ratio 09 and 325 ft-lb (441 Nm) at ratios 12 and 13.
