The Muncie SH8D-S6813-A3CX or SH8DS6813A3CX is a heavy-duty air-shift power take-off from the Muncie SH Series, designed to bridge the performance gap between lighter and heavier PTO lines. The integral air shift design keeps the air cylinder fully enclosed inside the housing, eliminating the exposed cylinder common on lower-torque units. The 8-bolt cast iron housing mounts solidly to the transmission side cover. With 17 available input gear sets, the SH Series fits most popular transmission configurations, and 12 output shaft options cover a wide range of pump types. Five speed ratios let installers match PTO output to hydraulic system requirements. Intermittent torque ratings reach up to 400 lb-ft depending on the selected speed ratio.
