The Muncie SH8S-M6507-A1IX or SH8SM6507A1IX is an SH8 Series air-shift power take-off built for high-torque truck applications. The integral air shift design keeps the air cylinder fully enclosed inside the housing, eliminating exposed external components. The 8-bolt cast iron housing mounts securely and provides the structural strength demanded by heavy-duty service. With 17 input gear sets available across the SH Series, this PTO fits most popular transmission configurations, while 12 output shaft options accommodate the most common pump types. Five speed ratios cover a wide range of application requirements. Intermittent torque ratings at the .05 and .07 speed ratios reach 400 lb-ft (542 Nm) at 76 HP, stepping down through .09, .12, and .13 ratios.
