The Muncie SH8S-M6509-A3EX or SH8SM6509A3EX is an SH8 Series air-shift power take-off built for high-torque truck applications. The integral air shift design keeps the air cylinder internal to the housing, eliminating exposed components. The 8-bolt cast iron housing mounts securely to the transmission without adapters. With 17 input gear sets available across the series, this PTO fits most popular transmission configurations, and 12 output shaft options cover most common hydraulic pump interfaces. Five speed ratios give installers flexibility to match pump and engine speed requirements. Intermittent torque ratings across the five available ratios range from 325 to 400 lb-ft at 1,000 RPM.
