The Muncie SH8S-M6509-A3PX (also referenced as SH8SM6509A3PX) is an air-shift-only power take-off from Muncie's SH8 Series, positioned between the TG and 82 Series for high-torque applications. The integral air shift design keeps the air cylinder fully enclosed within the housing, eliminating exposed components. The 8-bolt cast iron housing mounts without modification to most popular transmissions, supported by 17 available input gear sets. Five speed ratios and 12 output shaft options give it wide coverage across common hydraulic pump configurations. Intermittent torque ratings range from 325 to 400 lb-ft (441-542 Nm) depending on speed ratio, with continuous ratings from 228 to 280 lb-ft (309-379 Nm).
