The Muncie SH Series power take-off, part number SH8S-M6509-A3KX or SH8SM6509A3KX, is an air-shift-only PTO built for high-torque applications. It fills the performance gap between the Muncie TG and 82 Series units. The integral air shift design keeps the air cylinder enclosed within the housing, eliminating exposed external components. The 8-bolt cast iron housing mounts securely to compatible transmissions, and 17 input gear sets cover the most popular transmission configurations. Five speed ratios are available, with intermittent torque ratings ranging from 325 ft-lb to 400 ft-lb depending on the ratio selected.
