The Muncie SH8S-M6509-E3IX or SH8SM6509E3IX is a SH8 Series air-shift power take-off built for high-torque truck applications. It features an integral air-shift design with no exposed air cylinder, enclosed in an 8-bolt cast iron housing that simplifies mounting. The unit accommodates 17 input gear sets to fit most popular transmissions, and offers 5 speed ratios and 12 output shaft options to match common hydraulic pump configurations. Series torque ratings reach 400 ft-lb intermittent and 280 ft-lb continuous at certain speed ratios. The SH Series was designed to fill the gap between Muncie's TG and 82 Series PTOs.
