The Muncie SH8S-M6509-E1EX or SH8SM6509E1EX is an SH8 Series power take-off built for high-torque applications where air shift operation is required. The integral air shift design keeps everything internal - there is no exposed air cylinder. The 8-bolt cast iron housing mounts securely to the transmission and accommodates 17 input gear sets, covering most popular transmission models. Five available speed ratios let you match output to your hydraulic pump requirements, and 12 output shaft options cover most popular pump types. Intermittent torque capacity reaches 400 ft-lb (542 Nm) at the two lowest speed ratios. The SH8 Series was designed to bridge the gap between the TG and 82 Series PTOs.
