The Muncie SH8S-M6512-P3EX or SH8SM6512P3EX is an air-shift power take-off from Muncie's SH Series, built to handle high-torque applications that fall between the TG and 82 Series in capacity. The integral air shift design keeps the air cylinder fully enclosed inside the housing, eliminating exposure to road debris. The 8-bolt cast iron housing mounts easily and provides rigid, high-strength attachment to the transmission. Seventeen input gear sets cover most popular transmission bolt patterns, and twelve output shaft options match the majority of hydraulic pump configurations. Five available speed ratios let you match output speed to the driven equipment. Intermittent torque ratings reach up to 400 lb-ft (542 Nm) at the top speed ratios.
