The Muncie SH8S-S7009-E1BX (also referenced as SH8SS7009E1BX) is an air-shift-only power take-off from Muncie's SH Series, designed to bridge the gap between the TG and 82 Series for high-torque truck applications. The 8-bolt cast iron housing simplifies mounting and provides solid structural strength. The integral air shift design keeps the air cylinder internal, eliminating the exposed external cylinder common on other units. Input gear compatibility spans 17 gear sets, covering most popular transmission configurations. Output options include 12 shaft types to suit a wide range of pump connections. Five speed ratios deliver flexibility across duty cycles. Intermittent torque ratings reach up to 400 lb-ft at speed ratios 05 and 07, with continuous ratings at 280 lb-ft on those same ratios.
