The Muncie SH8S-U6005-A3EX (also referenced as SH8SU6005A3EX) is an 8-bolt, SH8 Series air-shift power take-off built for high-torque truck applications. Its integral air shift design eliminates any exposed air cylinder, simplifying installation and reducing failure points. The 8-bolt cast iron housing mounts securely to the transmission, and the unit accommodates 17 input gear sets covering most popular transmissions. Five speed ratios are available, with intermittent torque ratings reaching 400 ft-lb (542 Nm) at the 05 and 07 ratios.
