The Muncie SH8S-U6805-A3EX or SH8SU6805A3EX is an 8-bolt, air-shift-only power take-off from Muncie's SH8 Series, designed to handle high-torque truck and vocational applications. The integral air shift design keeps the air cylinder fully enclosed within the housing, eliminating exposed components and simplifying installation. Five available speed ratios give flexibility across applications, while 17 input gear sets cover most popular transmission configurations and 12 output shaft options accommodate a wide range of hydraulic pump types. The 8-bolt cast iron housing mounts securely and holds up in demanding duty cycles. Speed ratio 05 and 07 deliver up to 400 lb-ft intermittent torque (542 Nm); ratio 09 reaches 375 lb-ft intermittent (508 Nm); ratios 12 and 13 are rated at 325 lb-ft intermittent (441 Nm).
