The Muncie SH8 Series Power Take-Off, part number SH8S-U6809-A3GX or SH8SU6809A3GX, is an air-shift-only PTO built for high-torque truck applications. The integral air shift design keeps the air cylinder fully enclosed within the housing, eliminating exposed external components. The 8-bolt cast iron housing mounts easily and delivers structural strength for demanding service. Five speed ratios give setup flexibility, and 17 input gear sets cover most popular transmission configurations. Twelve output shaft options accommodate the widest range of hydraulic pump types. Intermittent torque ratings reach 400 ft-lb (542 Nm) at the 05 and 07 speed ratios.
