The Muncie SH8 Series Power Take-Off, part number SH8S-U6813-A1PX or SH8SU6813A1PX, is an air-shift-only PTO built for high-torque truck applications. It mounts with an 8-bolt cast iron housing, keeping the installation straightforward and the structure rigid. The integral air shift design eliminates an exposed air cylinder, reducing potential leak points. Seventeen input gear sets cover most popular transmission configurations, while 12 output shaft options accommodate the majority of common pump types. Five speed ratios are available, with intermittent torque ratings reaching 400 lb-ft (542 Nm) at the lower speed ratios.
