Muncie TG6S-U6005-C1SX or TG6SU6005C1SX PTO is a TG Series power take-off with a 6-bolt housing and mechanical shift. The TG Series is a double-gear design with a die-cast aluminum housing, a modular build and a constant mesh input gear, and it comes in 10 speed ratios, 13 shift types and 10 output shaft options so it can be matched to the job.
A power take-off bolts to the transmission and carries engine power out to a driveshaft or a hydraulic pump. A whine while it runs points to gear teeth meshing too tightly, a clatter to them being too loose, and clicking or grinding is a reason to stop and inspect.
