Muncie TG8B-U6809-P3IX or TG8BU6809P3IX is an 8-bolt, mechanical shift PTO from the TG8 Series. It takes power from the transmission and routes it out to equipment such as hydraulic or vacuum pumps. The input gear runs in constant mesh, which spares the transmission from engagement mistakes, and the mechanical shift calls for the gear to be stopped before the unit is engaged. Modular construction makes repair more flexible, the compact die-cast aluminum housing limits mounting interference, and the extra large shift cover opening gives easy access to check backlash.
