Muncie TG8S-U6809-P3IX or TG8SU6809P3IX is a genuine Muncie TG Series PTO with an 8-bolt housing, sold through Pro Gear and Transmission. It connects to the transmission, takes in engine power and turns an output shaft that drives a hydraulic pump or other equipment. Muncie builds the TG Series compact to limit mounting interference, with a die-cast aluminum housing and a constant mesh input gear. Worn or tight gears and bearings tend to announce themselves as whine or rattle, so listen for noise after installation and verify clearance against the transmission gear.
