Muncie TG8S-U6809-C2BX or TG8SU6809C2BX is a TG8 Series PTO with an 8-bolt housing and mechanical shift. The die-cast aluminum housing keeps the unit lighter and quieter and sheds heat well, and the constant mesh input gear keeps the transmission clear of engagement errors. Other TG Series features include an extra large shift cover opening for checking backlash and hydraulic flanges that rotate to clear the pump. A power take-off like this bolts to the transmission and carries engine power out to auxiliary equipment, and its double-gear layout lets one basic unit be configured for the speed, torque and horsepower a job needs.
