The Muncie SSH2-14X5-EECXXX or SSH214X5EECXXX is a split shaft power takeoff unit designed for heavy-duty multi-output drive applications. The SSH2 series supports up to 21,600 lb.ft. of maximum thru-shaft torque and up to 940 lb.ft. of maximum PTO output torque. Four outputs - two front and two rear - accept SAE "B" through SAE "D" pump mounts and Spicer 1410 through 1500 companion flanges. Air-shift controls handle activation, and each output can be individually engaged or disengaged without stopping other functions via the clutch-shift option. The unit is available in upright or horizontal configurations, and an optional frame mounting kit uses isolation-type mounts for straightforward installation.
