Permatex High Strength Threadlocker RED, part number 27183, is a 90 ml anaerobic adhesive designed to permanently secure threaded fasteners in the 3/8 inch to 1 inch (10 mm to 25 mm) diameter range. It is especially suited for locking studs and press-fit assemblies, adding 3,000 PSI holding power on slip and press-fit applications. The formula locks against vibration loosening and can replace set screws and snap rings in many installations. Removal may require heat or special tools.
