24027 Permatex Surface Insensitive Threadlocker BLUE is a blue threadlocker with medium-to-high holding strength, intended for everyday fastener work. It is made for 1/4 in. to 3/4 in. (6mm to 20mm) fasteners that carry a slight oil film, and it keeps them from backing off under vibration. The formula is oil resistant, and once cured it still lets go with ordinary hand tools, so the assembly can be taken apart again for service. It is OEM specified.
