Permatex 24300 Surface Insensitive Threadlocker Blue is a medium/high-strength thread-locking compound formulated for general-purpose fastener retention. It is especially suited for fasteners ranging from 1/4 in. to 3/4 in. (6 mm to 20 mm) and performs reliably even when a slight oil film is present on the threads - a common condition on heavy-duty truck components. The formula resists vibration loosening and remains oil resistant once cured. Fasteners can still be removed with hand tools, making disassembly straightforward during service.
