This pinion housing shim set fits Mack differential assemblies and comes as a pack of five identical shims, enough for one complete job. They set pinion depth and bearing preload within the axle housing so the pinion gear meshes correctly with the ring gear. The set is built as a replacement for the differential assembly process.
