This pinion adjustment shim pack fits Mack differential assemblies and is sold as a set of five, not individually. Each shim measures 0.010 in. thick and is positioned between the pinion gear and bearing to set proper pinion depth and preload for correct gear mesh with the ring gear. It is built as an aftermarket replacement for the differential.
