The Chelsea 272XGDAX-V3XD is a 6-bolt hot shift power take-off from the Chelsea 272 Series, designed to consolidate and replace multiple prior medium-duty PTO series including the 230, 231, 236, 238, 270, and 271. It handles intermittent torque ratings from 201 to 300 lb-ft and is available with either pneumatic or hydraulic shift. The series carries an integral air control valve, rotatable flanges, and a Wet-Spline option for extended PTO and pump shaft life. Direct-mount and driveshaft output configurations are supported, with Smart-Start available for high-torque start-up conditions. Applications include aerial, construction equipment, water trucks, and towing and recovery.
