The Chelsea 282GDAJX-13RY is a medium-duty hot shift Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 282 Series. The 282 Series supports pneumatic or hydraulic shift, an 8-bolt mounting pattern, and intermittent torque ratings from 201 to 300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm). Output shaft options within the series include a 1-1/4" round shaft with 5/16" key and a 1" round shaft with 1/4" key. The series delivers up to 57 HP at 1,000 RPM and is engineered for continuous-duty cycles in aerial, construction, towing and recovery, water truck, and fuel oil delivery applications. Available with rotatable flanges and an optional wet-spline output for extended pump shaft life.

The 282 Series was developed as a redesign of the medium-duty hot shift PTO line, combining elements of the 238 Series with upgraded components. Moving parts are rated to withstand up to 300 lb-ft intermittent or continuous. The series is used across aerial, construction equipment, towing and recovery, water truck, and home fuel oil delivery truck applications. A positive stop on driveshaft outputs prevents seal damage from driveshaft yokes.
