The Chelsea 282XSDAX-A5XD is an 8-bolt, medium-duty hot shift Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 282 Series. The 282 Series supports intermittent torque ratings from 201 to 300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) and is available with pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) shift. Output shaft options in the series include a 1-1/4" round shaft with 5/16" key and a 1" round shaft with 1/4" key. The 282 Series is a redesign of Chelsea's medium-duty hot shift PTO line, combining the 238 Series with updated components. Moving parts are rated to withstand up to 300 lb-ft intermittent or continuous. Direct mount configurations include an optional Wet-Spline technology for extended PTO and pump shaft service life. Driveshaft output configurations include a positive stop to prevent seal damage from driveshaft yokes. A Smart Start option is available in the series for high-torque start-up situations.
