The Chelsea 288GCFJW-M3RY is a 288 Series heavy-duty constant mesh Power Take-Off built on the 10-bolt mounting platform. The 288 Series carries a continuous duty torque rating of up to 390 lb-ft and features ductile iron bearing caps, which are 117% stronger than the gray iron caps used in the predecessor 287 Series. An o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load and reduces the effects of engine vibration. The output shaft uses a round shaft with a 1-1/4" key configuration and includes a positive stop feature that prevents oil seal damage from driveline couplings. Wet Spline lubrication is built into this unit, circulating a fresh flow of oil through the PTO and pump shaft to extend shaft life. The 288 Series is suited for refuse, vacuum, aerial, and snow and ice applications.
