The Chelsea 489DFMAX-V3XK is an 8-bolt Power Take-Off unit from the Chelsea 489 Series, designed to mount directly to most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec without requiring an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts to the 8-bolt transmission opening and delivers the same torque capacity as the 442 Series, rated at an intermittent torque of 201-300 lb-ft. The 489 Series uses wire/cable mechanical shift and features a 1-1/4" round keyed output shaft. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
