The Chelsea 489DFMAX-V6XD is an 8-bolt Power Take-Off unit from the Chelsea 489 Series, designed to mount directly to the 8-bolt aperture found on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The integral one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, removing a potential leak path and reducing installation time. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range with wire/cable mechanical shift operation. Output is via a 1-1/4" round keyed shaft, and the series supports up to 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for improved load capacity.
