The Chelsea 489QFLZX-V3RF is an 8-bolt Power Take-Off unit from the Chelsea 489 Series, designed to bolt directly to 8-bolt manual transmission openings on vehicles such as those equipped with Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec transmissions. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, reducing mounting time and potential leak paths. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and output shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM via a 1-1/4" round keyway shaft. Shift is accomplished via wire/cable mechanical actuation. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series, and strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load capacity.
