The Chelsea 489QRMEX-66AF is an 8-bolt Power Take-Off unit from the Chelsea 489 Series, designed to mount directly to the 8-bolt opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec without an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate leak path. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM or 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Shift type is wire/cable mechanical. Output is a 1-1/4" round keyed shaft. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series, and tapered bearings are used in place of needle bearings for greater load capacity.
