The Chelsea 489XSAHX-A6RK is an 8-bolt Power Take-Off unit from the Chelsea 489 Series, designed to bolt directly to 8-bolt manual transmission openings on most Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec transmissions without an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate found on many competing designs, reducing potential leak paths and installation time. The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft and delivers up to 55 HP output. Shift is air shift. The output is a rotatable SAE B 2 or 4-bolt flange with a 7/8" 13-tooth SAE B shaft. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
