The Chelsea 489XUHXX-A5XD is an 8-bolt Power Take-Off from Chelsea's 489 Series, designed to bolt directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for a separate adapter plate, reducing mounting time and potential leak paths. The 489 Series delivers the same 250 lb-ft torque capacity as the 442 Series while using strong tapered bearings in place of needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. Wire/cable mechanical shift actuation and a 1-1/4" round keyed output shaft are standard characteristics of this series.
