871XAFJP-E5SV Chelsea Power Take-Off

The Chelsea 871XAFJP-E5SV is a 10-bolt PowerShift (hydraulic) Power Take-Off from the 871 Series, designed for Allison transmissions. The 871 Series carries a continuous torque rating of up to 670 lb-ft (908 Nm) with no derating required for continuous duty operation. Its compact housing reduces clearance concerns during installation, and multiple assembly arrangements give installers flexibility in tight engine compartments. The 871 Series offers nine speed ratios and thirteen output options, including SAE B, SAE BB, and SAE C pump spline configurations. A ductile iron bearing cap, 117% stronger than the gray iron predecessor, and an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improve clamp load and resist vibration. Shaft power ratings for the series run 64 HP at 500 RPM and 128 HP at 1,000 RPM. The 871 Series succeeds the Chelsea 870 Series. Available from Pro Gear and Transmission.

The Chelsea 871 Series succeeds the 870 Series PTO and is the only Chelsea PTO to offer all three of Chelsea's high-demand options in a single platform: Wet Spline, SmartStart, and Quiet Gear. Wet Spline extends PTO and pump shaft service life. SmartStart reduces shock load at start-up for applications where that is a concern. The optional Electronic Overspeed Control (EOC) protects driven equipment from overspeed conditions. Markets served by the 871 Series include fire and rescue, truck cranes, pumper cleaner, and refuse applications.
